Dex Media Inc helps small businesses advertise online and was formed in 2013 with a merger between Dex One and SuperMedia. Based in Dallas, Dex Media needed a telecom, cabling and IT partner to support a growing workforce.

c2mtech began a relationship with Dex in early 2017, chosen after a competitive bid process for an office renovation. The company needed to upgrade and expand a small office in Bristol, a growing region in the Tri-Cities of Tennessee.

The cabling team at c2mtech began work on removing and installing Cat 5e cabling throughout the Bristol office. Common with most office upgrades, Dex needed the project completed as soon as possible. Idle employees cost money. Without cabling, internet and voice communication, employees at a web company are unable to provide customer service.

With phase 1 complete, phase 2 involved setup of additional workstations. Dex currently had a small team of eight employees in Bristol, but needed additional workstations to support 28 employees. Connections for data and voice communication were added, on time and on budget. The project was completed during weekends, to minimize downtime and meet deadlines.
